Background of the Ministries

Bethel Faith International Ministries is a Christian organization dedicated to praying with those in need of healing in the physical, emotional and spiritual areas of their lives and to teaching others about this often overlooked aspect of Christ's ministry.

Bethel Faith International Ministries was founded by Pastor: Badibanga & Veronica Itongwa received a call to spread the good news about God’s Kingdom. The Ministry first began in Bukavu R.D.Congo

Bethel Faith International Ministries offers numerous ministry services to meet the needs of the congregation as well as those outside of the faith community. B.F.I.M. Provides ministries for men/women and the youth in addition to providing basic needs for the widowed, the poor, downtrodden and physically handicapped both materially and spiritually and starting an home for orphans and need for the destitute and counseling programs for those affected by HIV and AIDS.

Additionally we also host revival crusades in various parts of the country in order to ensure the spreading of the Gospel to all people. Several different pastors from different churches are invited to participate in the crusade and help spread the word of the almighty. These events have not only helped to advance the mission of Bethel Faith International Ministries, but we have also allowed the church to effectively collaborate with different churches.

It is our vision: “To raise disciples through the teaching of the word of God and manifestation of His power in our world today.”

We strive to meet this vision through the following strategies:
• Building community that are faithful to the word of God.

• Ministering to all people disregarding their race, tribe, culture, faith and economic status.

• Organizing seminars, Concerts, conferences, Cinema, get-togethers, picnics, workshops, retreats, camps, Sports, Outreach, Debates and Discussions.

• Organizing door to door evangelism.

• Following the teachings of scriptures through outreach services and contributing to community development.

• Enhancing fellowship with other churches and Christian Organizations.

• Providing educational outreach programs to remote areas and unreached groups and offering counseling to people with different social problems.

• Peaching and disseminating the Gospel along lakeshores and building workshop centre:

Following our visit data collection along the lakeshores island regions, we realized that the areas consist of different people from different ethnicity. As a result of this congestion and impending social problems so experienced therein, sexual promiscuity is very rampant giving rise to an alarming rate of the deadly disease, AIDS.

It would be better if a gospel ministry is started there in order to alleviate the social problems and bring the people back to the Lord. Some other resource teaching dependence on other means of live hood rather than fishing only also can help boost spiritual morale.
